National Media - September 2016
A concerned medic contacted us to raise concerns that the strike proposed by the Junior Doctors Committee (JDC) could cause patient deaths.
The whistleblower was worried that the JDC was acting beyond its remit as many junior doctors were now opposing five day strike action and willing to cross the picket line.
We placed a host of stories across the media, leaking information from within the BMA which would give more information to medical professionals as well as the public.
The strikes were suspended but the issues of junior doctors contracts remains unresolved.
We remain neutral but act as a medium through which information can be shared.
